Small Infrastructure

The NTA helps to develop a range of small infrastructures including facilities such as wells, off-the-roof tanks and reticulation pipes to improve water supplies. We help to improve village roads, and enable farmers to get better access to markets by providing materials and technical advice for improving village roads. We also help with erecting fences around gardens to stop wandering animals from destroying crops.

As with the majority of NTA's projects, most of the actual work is undertaken by the villagers themselves, although local tradespeople can be brought in if specialist skills are needed.
