NTA’s COVID-19 EmergencyNTA works with some of the poorest people in the world. These people live in small farming communities in Flores and West Timor, Indonesia. They are highly vulnerable because they are extremely poor, live day to day with nothing in reserve and experience an 8 month dry season when access to clean water is a constant battle and they have limited access to health facilities and information. |
Water and SanitationThe frequent drought conditions and low rainfall in Nusa Tenggara Timur mean families spend much of their time collecting water for household use, with little left over for animals or tending vegetable gardens. |
EducationSince its founding, NTA has worked with primary and secondary schools in target areas of Nusa Tenggara Timur to improve their facilities and teaching resources, and to make them places where young people are equipped to learn and grow. |
